On 06 June 2023, the Hon Martin Hunt MP, Minister for Finance, released the 2023-24 Budget.
The 2023-24 Budget recognises revenue of $278.6 million and expenditure of $278.4 million with a $215,000 surplus balance.
The 2023-24 Budget Theme is “Building the Foundation for a new economy” has been framed to support Nauru’s sustained resilience through responsible economic management, easing cost of living pressures, and investing in service delivery and in productivity enhancing infrastructure.
